May 6-7, 2026: 2-Day Water Distribution Math, Gr. 1-2 – 14 Contact Hrs./1.4 CEUs

  • A scientific calculator is required for this math class.
  • Operators will learn how to use the step-by-step method, utilize algebraic formulas, and define conversions to find the solutions to volume, pounds, dosage / demand /residual and PSI problems. These principles are reinforced with practical water math application problems.

May 8, 2026: Disinfection – 7 Contact Hrs./0.7 CEUs

  • Student will learn to identify the properties of chlorine, dosage, demand and residual problems, breakpoint chlorination, disinfection by-products (THM’s), alternative disinfectants together with liquid and gas chlorination practice problems.

May 11, 2026: Pumps & Motors – 7 Contact Hrs./0.7 CEUs

  • Operators will examine types of centrifugal pumps, define pump terminology, and interpret hydraulic fundamentals, pump components, cavitation, friction energy losses, net positive suction head, pump curves, safety, trouble shooting, and pumps mathematics.

May 12, 2026: Sources, Wells & Surface Water – 7 Contact Hrs./0.7 CEUs
