- Operators will compute intermediate and advanced level math questions using the Step-by-step method, algebraic formulas, and conversions. Operators will compute math problems emphasized during the activated sludge process, sludge conditioning, anaerobic digesters, primary and secondary clarifier operations, tertiary filtration; effluent disposal and disinfection.
April 28-29, 2026: Wastewater Math Gr. 3-5 – 14 Contact Hrs./1.4 CEUs
- Students will learn Basics of Anaerobic Sludge Digestion, Anaerobic Sludge Digestion Operation, Digester Process Control, Process Math Problems, Digester troubleshooting guides, and testing procedures. An operations and certification preparation workbook.
May 1, 2026: Wastewater Essay Questions in MC format – 7 Contact Hrs./0.7 CEUs
- This workbook contains typical exam essay questions, short answer topics and definitions which reflect industry discussion questions found on Grade 3, 4 and 5 California wastewater examinations.
